Webinar for School & District Staff
Understanding Cultural Competency to Deliver Great Customer Service in Schools
Thursday, April 20, 10:00 – 11 a.m. PT / 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. ET
As our nation becomes more diverse and political rhetoric heats up around the immigration debate, school staff have to know how to deliver great service to every parent no matter what the parent's background or language. Cultural differences can be easily misunderstood and misinterpreted, which can lead to frustration, communication barriers, and poor customer service. This webinar will teach participants how to be culturally competent simply using their knowledge, sensitivity, and awareness to effectively interact with cultures different from their own.
